My interest in physical therapy/sportsmedicine began at the age of 16. I sustained a season-ending knee injury and developed a keen interest in sports rehabilitation. I grew up in Rochester, NY and attended Physical Therapy school in Buffalo, NY at Daemen College. After graduating in 1994 I moved to Tucson, Arizona to begin my career. It was in Tucson that I developed a love for horses. When I am not working I am usually spending time with my horses Jack and Cita. I moved to Oregon in 1997 and received my Masters in Sportsmedicine/Motor Control as well as my ATC in 1999. Since then I have worked at a variety of clinics in the Eugene area including the University of Oregon Athletic Dept. and Student Health Center. In addition to my clinical practice I have taught a graduate level manual therapy class at the U of O, focusing on the lumbo-pelvic region, for the past two years. In Febuary of 2005 I joined the Bodywise Physical Therapy team. I believe in our clinic and our holistic approach to healing and rehabilitation.
