The Student Sustainability Fund (SSF) holds $35,000 of student fee dollars that is allocated annually to student projects that projects that support the overall sustainability of the University of Oregon campus. The UOSC Board of Directors and Coordinator review all proposals and request advice from the Environmental Issues Committee, if warranted. The Vice President for Student Affairs makes final funding decisions.
Grant awards will go to projects that fulfill the mission of the UO Sustainability Center and of the sustainability goals of the University of Oregon. Overall, projects should embody the spirit of collaboration, education, activism, and innovation related to our community, green business, and our ecosystem. These projects should have a lasting, positive impact on the campus community and work to enhance our socio-ecological sustainability.
