Archival Information on the Multi-Cultural Requirement

The following information is available on the Senate and Assembly Archives and deals with the establishment of the multi-cultural requirement at the UO during the period 13 January 1993 thru 6 April 1994. Other information will be posted if and when it becomes available.
  1. Debate commences in the senate January 13 1993
  2. Debate continues in the Senate February 9 1993
  3. Debate continues in the Senate March 10 1993. A motion is passed and the activity passes to the assembly
  4. A motion is passed in the Assembly April 7 1993
  5. But reconsidered in the Assembly May 5 1993
  6. and continued until the 2 June 1993 meeting of the assembly
  7. which decided to refer the whole matter to committee. This committee issued its report 8 March 1994
  8. and the committee report was adopted at the 6 April 1994 meeting of the Assembly
  9. The matter is now, 10 years letter, being reviewed by the Undergraduate Council and other University Committees.
