Dear Jim

Based on conversations with a great many people, I am going to try to organize a town hall meeting on "unionization" (to use but a single word to describe a very complex topic) for Friday 29 January 2010 from 1530 to 1700 in 150 Columbia. Right now the thinking is as follows:

I have already written to Marie, to Barbara, and to the OA Council in this regard. So now I am most respectfully writing to request your assistance in implementing (b) assuming that you think it appropriate. I emphasize that the representative of the administration has as their ONLY job to provide factual information and under no circumstances to offer an opinion one way or other. What is wanted is someone who is knowledgable about the matter and non partisan. Many thanks. PBG

Dear Marie.

The new (tentative) date for the town hall meeting is 29 January 2010. Would such a date work for you?
