A VOICE FROM NIKE'S FACTORY FLOOR
Roselio Reyes, Dominican Republic
7 p.m. Tuesday, May 23
150 Columbia, University of Oregon

In all the uproar about Nike and sweatshop labor, one voice has been conspicuously absent: the voice of Nike workers themselves.

Roselio Reyes is a former Nike employee at the BJ&B factory in the Dominican Republic. He now works as a labor organizer at BJ&B and with a group of student activists in Santo Domingo.

Rather than relying on the assurances of corporate leaders telling us that there are no labor violations, here's the chance to hear a voice from the shop floor.
