Quarterfinals

The Ducks put on a beautiful, fiesty game of soccer against Cal Berkeley; dominating for most of the game. The defensive line executed discipline and exhibited control from the back line, successfully shutting down Cal’s forward attack. But alas, the Ducks were unable to capitalize on their opportunities and regulation time ended tied 0-0. After 15 minutes of more Duck domination in golden goal overtime, the game officially ended 0-0. Sadly, Oregon lost 4-5 in the deciding PK shootout. A disappointing result that does not match the true nature of the game.

It was a tough battle and great tournament for the Ducks. We look forward to what’s to come.
