After a 10-game unbeaten league season, the Ducks are anxious to test themselves and their goal of going undefeated and winning the national tournament. The team has checked into our hotel, had a training session at the Mike Rose soccer complex, had dinner, rested and is now ready for some high quality soccer action!

First pool play games are Thursday at 11:30am (9:30 PST) v Miami and 6:30pm (4:30pm PST) v Villanova. Go Ducks!

In only their second year of existence, the Green squad brought home the tournament trophy with an undefeated record over 5 games beating Seattle U, Willamette U and U of Portland . Excellent work Green! We are proud of you!

Our 1st team starts their training schedule this Tuesday Oct 2nd at 6am on Field #1. They will play Linfield College on Wednesday Oct 3rd at 7pm at Churchill High School which is located at 1850 Bailey Hill Rd, Eugene, OR 97405. The turf soccer pitch is on the west side of the high school grounds.

1st team will take Thursday’s morning training OFF.

2nd team starts their first team training on Thursday Oct 4th at 6am on Field #1.

All subsequent trainings for BOTH teams will continue to take place every Tuesday & Thursday at 6am on Field #1.

I am proud of your hard work and dedication the last two weeks. Our team roster selections are below: 17 on Gold and 21 on Green. Any changes or additions to rosters will be finalized on Friday Oct 5th after coaches see players compete in Saturday’s 2pm Gold/Green league match and Wednesday’s 7pm Gold/Linfield match.

Look at our weekly trainings times below. Email me at coachpete@q.com if you have a specific time conflict.

On Saturday,  players should report to Field #4 one hour early for our 2pm Gold/Green league match. Please wear green (or black) shorts and white socks. Jerseys will be provided. If you haven’t turned in your player card registration form to Nicole, you must email one to the Oregon Adult Soccer Association immediately and tell them to ship your card to Nicole Marsaglia, courtesy UofO Women’s Club Soccer.

Players who have not had an OASA player card are new registering. See link here <http://www.oregonadultsoccer.com/new_player_registration.htm>
Players without player cards are prohibited from playing in league matches.

The UO Women’s Club Soccer Team will be holding tryouts for the 2012 school year the first week of Fall Term.

Tryouts will be held Monday, September 24th to Thursday, September 27th from 7-9pm on Turf Field 3. Turf Field 3 is located next to the tennis courts on 18th st.

All participants must fill out a waiver so please come early to the first tryout you attend.

If you cannot make one of the nights, don’t let that deter you from trying out for the team.

YOU MUST BRING $10 TO TRYOUT. If you do not bring $10 you will not be allowed to tryout.
