There has never been a better time to contribute to efforts to save the planet and assist in the survival of its inhabitants. A career in science, math or engineering is one of the best vehicles for making significant contributions to these areas. This evening for teenage girls and their parents will be devoted to a discussion of career options and exciting emerging opportunities for teens interested in using their talents to build careers in technically oriented fields. So bring your questions and your interests. Parents welcome. A panel of women scientists and engineers will lead the discussion and answer any questions including how should you best prepare in high school for a technically oriented career? What should you consider when looking at colleges? How can you find colleges and universities that are particularly successful in supporting and promoting their female students?
Light meal and refreshments provided
