Department Information:           

 

The Payroll Department is a division of the Office of Business Affairs, which provides assistance to 150 campus

departments in order to process payroll documents in a timely and accurate manner.

 

Purpose of Position:

 

Under the direction of the supervisor, but working independently, this position acts in a confidential capacity to process

employee records for student workers.

 

Duties:

 

  • Provide assistance to Payroll Supervisor

    ·                       Code information from Student Employment Forms (SEF) and other hire documents, for data entry to HRIS Banner

  • Distribute payroll checks to U of O employees on a monthly basis

    ·                       Follow up with departments on document discrepancies or omissions

  • Organize, and alphabetize documents

  • File

  • Assist other payroll department employees as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

FLSA Non-Exempt

 

This position requires close attention to detail, good organizational skills, and respect for the privacy of employee records.
