Computer Science is a vast source of intellectual challenges, from understanding the fundamental mathematics of computational complexity to designing the next generation of Internet protocols to organizing vast stores of genomics data. The Department of Computer and Information Science (CIS) is committed to a strong research program and a rewarding educational experience for undergraduate students. The Department offers a Minor in Computer Information Technology (CIT), which prepares students to work with evolving technologies for work environments that require development and management of business databases, computer networks, web applications, and software systems.
