Hello! I am Christophe Dethier, currently a Ph.D candidate at the University of Oregon.
My research interests are in Number Theory, specifically in Diophantine Equations and Computational Number Theory.
Lately I have been working on applying the standard methods for Thue Equations to the family of Diagonalizable Forms, with emphasis on computational methods.
I have a paper, Diagonalizable Quartic Thue Equations with Negative Discriminant, which has been accepted for publication in Acta Arithmetica (2018).
I have another paper, currently in preparation, on some computational aspects of Diagoanlizable Forms.
(For more information, see my research statement in the research section.)
