PORTFOLIO

PORTFOLIO.......DUE TUESDAY, May25, 1999

DESCRIPTION:

Deliver a hardcopy portfolio of the writing you have completed this term to your BA 101 professor, Dave Dusseau. It is due at the beginning of class on Tuesday, May25, 1999. Portfolios delivered after the first 10 minutes of class will be considered late. Late portfolios will be penalized according to the following schedule:

• from 10 minutes late to 4:00 next day: -3 points (out of 15)
• from 4:00 Wednesday to 4:00 Thursday: -1 more point
• every day thereafter: -1 more point (up to a total of 15)

CONTENTS:

Each student turns in one (and only one) portfolio. Your portfolio must include (and only include!) the following in the following order:

• Cover Page
• Proposal
• Report
• BA101 Performance Evaluation
• For BA 199 students ONLY- BA 199 Evaluation
• Rough Draft of report
• Peer review given to you (or name of student)
• Peer review done by you for another student

DESIGN:

I. The Portfolio Itself:

Only portfolios that are securely stapled will be accepted. If your portfolio is too thick for a home or office stapler, use an industrial stapler. Peechees, loose-leaf notebooks, paper clips, manila folders, envelopes, and any other inadequately bound portfolios will not be accepted.

NOTE: Please do not include plastic covers or spiral bindings.

II. The Cover Page:

On your cover page, include (and only include):

• An appropriate title, ie: WRITING PORTFOLIO // BA101 & BA199
• Your Name
• Your Class
• The Date

Revise your assignments before submitting them for this final evaluation according to the responses you received from peers and tutors. Also read the general responses to each assignment posted on the BA199 homepage to help your revise.
