Donor helps middle income Oregonians realize college dreams
EUGENE, Ore. -- (Sept. 15, 2011) -- Some middle income Oregonians will get help paying for a University of Oregon education next year, thanks to a major gift from UO alumna Mary Corrigan Solari. She has funded $5 million in new scholarships for at least 250 students.

Museum of Natural and Cultural History opens Salish weaving exhibit
EUGENE, Ore. -- (Sept. 1, 2011) - A new art exhibit at the University of Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural History will showcase Native American weaving. "SQ3Tsya'yay: Weaver's Spirit Power by Susan Pavel" will be on view in the MNCH Galleria Sept. 7 through Jan. 29.
UO to educate incoming students about alcohol and substance abuse issues

first-year and transfer students under the age of 21 at the University of Oregon
will be asked to take AlcoholEdu
for College,
a web-based alcohol abuse prevention program.
UO law students receive American Bar Association award
