EUGENE, Ore. – (June 4, 2014) – The Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon will meet on Thursday, June 12, and Friday, June 13.
The meetings are open to the public. The two-day meeting of the 15-member panel is in the Great Room (Room 123) of the Global Scholars Hall, at the corner of East 15th Avenue and Moss Street on the UO campus. The June 12 meeting will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the June 13 meeting will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
The meeting agenda includes action on a number of issues, including:
- Policy on tuition, fees and other charges
- Treasury operations
- Retention and delegation of authority
- Budget and expenditure authority for fiscal year 2015
- Optional retirement and tax-deferred investment plans
The trustees also will hold two evening social gatherings to tour the new Explore Oregon exhibit at the Museum of Natural and Cultural History, have a roundtable discussion with former Association of American Universities president and former interim UO president Bob Berdahl and meet with faculty members over dinner.
