EUGENE, Ore. – (Feb . 16, 2012) – The University of Oregon Cinema Pacific Film Festival announces its annual call for applicants for the Adrenaline Film Project, the 72-hour filmmaking workshop that culminates in a public screening at the Cinema Pacific Film Festival.

Between April 18 and April 21, the 12 teams of three filmmakers, mentored by professional filmmakers, will write, cast, shoot, edit and premiere their short films.

Now in its third year, the Adrenaline Film Project assigns genres, and provides a prop and one line of dialogue for teams as a starting point.

Applications for Adrenaline 2012 are available online and must be submitted by March 9, 2012.

UO students as well as members of the Eugene/Springfield community are encouraged to enter. UO students have the option of receiving three university credits for participation.

After the short films screening on April 21, the Kalb Jury Award will honor the best of these films, and a “Viewer's Choice” audience award will be announced. Winners will receive cash awards and prizes.
