EUGENE, Ore. -- (Feb. 25, 2009) -- The University of Oregon Libraries will hold its annual book sale from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, through Thursday, March 12, in the Knight Library, Browsing Room, 1501 Kincaid St.

Thousands of used books on all subjects will be offered for sale, along with a selection of CDs, DVDs and maps. The sale includes a group of books by Ursula Le Guin translated into several languages and a number of vintage children's books.

Unless otherwise marked, hardbacks will be priced at $2, paperbacks at 50 cents, CDs, DVDs and LPs at 50 cents and maps at 25 cents. Additionally, a large selection of jazz and classical 78 vinyl records will be sold for $5 per box.

Proceeds from the sale will help fund new acquisitions for the UO Libraries.
