MGL0910_16 shot with gun strings 1-4.  String 1 remains a problem.  During the early morning local time gun string 1 continues to deteriorate.  This string is causing no end of problems.

While moving gun string 2 out of the way, it becomes entangled with gun string 3.  Almost all of MGL0910_23 is shot with only two gun strings (3 and 4). Gun string 1 is not working; gun string 2 is entangled.

At the end of MGL0910_23 gun strings 2 & 3 are disentangled.  For most of MGL0910_20 the Langseth array comprises gun strings 2, 3 and 4 and part of gun string 1.

After completion of MGL0910_20 gun strings 1 and 2 are recovered and swapped.  The purpose here is to get the problematic gun string 1 into the 2 position so that it is easier to work on this string.  We are hoping that in this new configuration gun strings 1, 3 and 4 will be relatively stable and that with the problematic gun string 1 hardware in the 2 position we will be able to do maintenance on while underway.  It is anticipated that for this inner volume the availability of 75% of the array may be sufficient.  Only time will tell; it is a risk.
