The purpose of this post is to begin a quest to make this idea a reality. My vision is to work with people of all ages within the public housing site to teach them how to create and manage a public garden within their living environment. The materials needed for the project could be obtained by donations from local preveyers of what is needed. The food that was grown could be used to feed the families within the complex, any extra food could be sold to local chefs, or farmers market (in their community). Thank you: Jeffrey Furlong |
