November 22; Saturday; 10 am - 1 pm. Nearby Nature's Alton Baker Park Action Project: Work Party. Turn up in work clothes and boots (good for rain if necessary); bring tools for native plant restoration, erosion control, trail crew, and litter patrol. All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by adult. Meet at the north end of the Autzen Footbridge. FMI: 687-9699.

November 25; Tuesday; 7:30 p.m. Monthly Audubon Society Meeting: More about Bats than you need to know! by Stuart Perlmeter. The meeting begins with refreshments and reports of bird sightings, program at 8 pm, at the Eugene Garden Club, 1645 High St. Free to the Public. FMI: 344-3634.

December 6; Saturday; Noon to 3:00 p.m. Saturday Safari: "Treasures" Take a guided tour of the museum's exhibit, "Across Space and Time: Treasures from the UO Museum of Natural History," and then explore the theme of collecting. Activities will focus on why people collect; classification, cataloging, and display; more. Visitors are invited to bring samples of their own collections (no perishables or live animals, please). University of Oregon Museum of Natural History, 1680 E. 15th Ave., Eugene. $2 per person or $5 per family; free to museum members. FMI: 346-3024.
