"My
folks gave me a beautiful blue cook stove called the Round Oak. So, Shawn
and I brought that stove and a 50-lb sack of peanuts and set up our kitchen
at the end of the driveway at the Ariel Mine and proceeded to build a
16 by 16 foot A-frame right at the edge of the river along a gorge with
deep pools. All the wood and more we got about three miles upstream from
Sixes store, a tumbled down house that the land owner let us recycle 4
by 6 timbers. With a loft big enough for a double bed, open on both ends
in the downstairs, we covered it with 12 mil extra tough translucent plastic"
