· Why do users often feel too cool for comfort? How do the windows, mechanical system, and ceiling height influence comfort? - Using the balometer, we found that the air speed of Supply Grille 1 registered at 1075 cfm. Supply Grille 2 registered 105 cfm. (View diffuser locations) We then obtained the mechanical drawings to compare our findings to the specified equipment. To our surprise, the original drawings show that Supply Grille 1 was specified to supply air at 400 cfm, rather than the whopping 1075 cfm measurement taken with the balometer. Supply Grille 2 was specified to expel 400 cfm, but we measured a mere 105 cfm. |
