Every week, May through December, we get a big box of organic vegetables from the farm. It’s a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program, where we pay a certain amount at the beginning of the season and then get whatever the farm produces every week. It’s a way for farmers to get a reliable source of income, and a way for us to get fresh, fabulous vegetables grown locally by people we know and like (Gabe, Sophie, and their baby Hannah, who is just a few months younger than Felix).

Every fall they have a farm day, where their subscribers can come out, see the farm, share some food, and pick pumpkins for Halloween. Above is Felix in the pumpkin patch; below is Felix helping Chris haul our pumpkins back to the car. Note the cool new boots!
