Felix LOVES fire trucks. This obsession has been going on for over a year now, and has been fueled by books about fire trucks, toy fire trucks, seeing a fire truck up close and personal in a parade, etc. Well, the weekend after Thanksgiving Felix got to ride on a real fire truck! The fire department was doing a Toys for Tots event, where you could bring a toy donation for needy children and in exchange get to take a ride on a REAL fire truck. They were all vintage trucks, and drove around the parking lot of one of our local big box stores with sirens blaring! Felix and Papa went for a ride in a white fire truck -- he liked it, mostly.
