I mentioned before that Felix has started taking various objects to bed -- generally a different one every night. Blocks, hammers, and tractors have all been object-of-the-night at one time or another. Last night’s takes the cake, however. When I got into bed I discovered four stuffed birdies... and a turkey baster.

Oh yeah, the birdies are named Burrito, Quesadilla, Tortilla, and Fajitas. Out babysitter Jane’s bird Taco was the inspiration for these names, I’m told.

Finally, today Felix learned to do the splits (very hilarious and snort (even more hilarious), both lessons courtesy of his friend Talia Ying.
