Sorry it’s been a while since the last blog entry. Things have been really busy here, what with all the tunnel building and tromping around wearing big shoes (see below). Today was a big milestone, though: the first tea party. Felix has just started interacting with his stuffed animals like they’re real, talking to them, showing them things, and so on. This morning, he decided they needed a snack. So he brought the two kangaroos (one vintage from my own childhood), black bear, and monkey (also vintage) into the kitchen and gave them all something to eat. The kangaroos got raisins, and the monkey got... well, beer. He got out his cup, and then went into the pantry (another favorite occupation these days is emptying the pantry onto the kitchen floor) and got... beer. Are you noticing a pattern here? Please, no one call Child Protective Services. We don’t even drink the stuff, just have it on hand for our friends!
