1. Cathedral at Reims, France, nave completed in 1311. (Many English publications spell the name of the town in northern France, Rheims.) View of nave looking west. For the first tim a rose window has replaced the tympanum relief above the central portal.



2. Leaded stained glass window in the aisle of the choir, south side, Chartres Cathedral, France. Center panels from the 12th Century, side panels from the 13th Century.



3. Interior of Great Hall, Penshurst Place, Kent, England, 1341.



4. Oak Buffet with Gothic carved panels and details. North Holland, first quarter of 16th Century. Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.



5. Flanders, 15th Century. Armchair of box type and cupboard. Note frame and panel construction and linenfold carved panels, and iron hardware.



6. France, 15th Century. Details of Gothic coffer fronts. Note use of tracery and ogee patterns.
