Two impressions from the first edition of 200 prints depicting a pensive boy, perhaps the artist at a young age, or his son, or just a boy. The boy stands in front of what appears to be a chalkboard.The print on the left does not carry a number or the seal of the publisher Sōhan kai, as does the print on the right, which is the 53rd print in the edition.
