About This Print

Printed during the artist's lifetime by Takahashi Studio which printed a number of Maeda's designs in the 1960s and 1970s.

April Hall (Shigatsu-dō), an Important Cultural Property, is located in the Todai Temple grounds and was built in the Edo period.  It is called April Hall for the special prayer ceremony, Hokke Sanmai, held there every April.
