About This Print
A view of Bentenjima from the Hattachi coast in Iwaki City, the southern-most city along the Fukushima coast. The island was inundated when the tsunami hit on March 11, 2011 but recovered, as has Iwaki City.

Sakamoto produced a similar view of Bentenjima in the below 1975 print, copied from a local newspaper.
This print is one of four in a set of prints titled Four Seasons of Fukushima.
