O'Neill, Hinoki Shoten, 1929, p. 191.Tokiyori is traveling incognito as an ordinary priest in the western part of Japan to learn the true state of affairs in the country, when he comes to Ashiya and finds that Tsukiwaka, the son of the former lord, has had his lands usurped by his uncle Tōei. He goes to see Tōei but, funding him in the middle of a party, watches while he dances and even asks him to dance again. Then the Regent reveals his identify, restores the lands to Tsukiwaka and, by not confiscating Tōei's rightful property, leaves them to live in peace together.
