About This Print

One of five index sheets (mokuroku) from the series Nōgakuzue (Illustrations of Noh) which consists of 261 prints (including the five index sheets). The series was issued by the publisher Matsuki Heikichi in five bound books (volumes), translated numerically as: 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.0, and also referred to as Vol. 1 No. 1, Vol. 1 No. 2, Vol. 2 No. 1, Vol. 2 No. 2, Vol. 3.1  This index sheet appears in the front of Volume 2, No. 1.
