This is a site that was developed for courses taught Summer 1997 at University of Oregon's American English Institute (AEI). It was originally called "explOREGON." We have since learned, however, that this is a trademarked (1994) name for some of the projects that the University of Oregon's Geography department has conducted over the past years. This AEI web site is no longer in use and we withdraw the use of the "explOREGON" name.
