Instructions to artist (including "legend / key")
This supplement involved creating a set of graphs similar to the existing ones in this module. There is a complication, the chronological lines in the charts provided are not consistent so we will need to combine the maps that roughly have the same time frames ( Graph 1 "Dated Shipwrecks" and Graph 2 "Lead Pollution" 1,000BC-1500AD; Graph 3 "Wood Remains" and Graph 7 "Femur Length" 0-450AD; Graph 5 "Animal Bone-Italy" and Graph 6 "Animal Bone-West. Europe" 550BC-750AD). Specifically we will want three buttons, each one labeled as noted, and then the option to overlay the charts.

The lengthing and the shortening of the femur suggests changes in the general health and nutrition of a population, the longer the femur, the better the nutrition. The changing rate of wood use suggests changes in economic prosperity as measured by construction activity. |
