View of Teton Glacier and its terminal moraine. This moraine formed during the latest advance of the Teton Glacier--during the "Little Ice Age", which ended in the 19th century. Pinedale (latest Pleistocene) moraines lie well beyond this moraine (not on the photo). They typically form tree-covered ridges where the canyons join the main valley floor.
