Seal Rock State Recreation Site

Seal Rock State Recreation Site offers a collection of rock formations rising from sea and shore.  This lovely spot provides habitat for birds and marine mammals like seals.  It's just north of milepost 151 on US 101 on the Oregon coast, ten miles south of Newport.  There is paved parking for a dozen cars, flush restrooms, picnic tables, and access to on-shore rocks with tidepools and sandy beach.

This is a beautiful place to enjoy on your coastal journey.  Be aware that unpredictable and powerful sneaker waves sometimes wash everything off of the rocks.
