Syllabus

 

The course will be conducted in a lecture-discussion format. Grades will be based on an hour exam (35%), a final (45%) and a critical essay (20%). Grades for graduate students will be based on these requirements and an additional written assignment. Correct English is expected from native speakers on all written work; errors will be penalized. Readings should be completed prior to coming to class.
