Below are a few images of deltas that I did not have time to show in class. Be sure to also look at (and think about and understand) figures provided in the class handout and in the text book.


Mississippi Delta:

Ganges-Brahmaputra Delta:


Above: The country of Bangladesh lies almost entirely within this vast delta system, and is therefore especially vulnerable to sea-level rise.
