Producing characters on the PC depends on the word processor you use. If you don't know how to produce the Spanish characters using your word processor, there is a method that works on IBM computers regardless of the word processor you use. In order to get Spanish characters on a PC you do the following:
First, while holding down the ALT key, press the following numbers on the Number Key pad on your keyboard (on the right). After typing the number, release the ALT key and the character will appear in your document.
See if you can type these accents by clicking in the text box to the right of the Spanish words in the center column and then typing each word using the key combinations given on the left.
If you make a mistake click on the "Clear typing boxes" button to start over. When you have finished all five examples, click on the blue arrow to go to the next page of the tutorial.
