- Safe Ride and DDS are both essential services on campus but have two separate missions or purposes. Safe Ride is an assault prevention shuttle that was founded in 1985 to address the alarming epidemic of sexual assault. Our mission is to provide inclusive, safe, and accessible alternatives to traveling alone at night with the goal of reduce sexual assault rates.
- DDS, the Designated Driver Shuttle, works to reduce incidences of drunk driving. Their mission is to protect students from irresponsible drinking, prevent intoxicated students from getting behind the wheel, and to provide safe and sober transportation.
