safe ride mission statement
university of oregon assault prevention shuttle
Safe Ride is devoted to the idea that a person - regardless of gender identity, race, religion, sexuality, and more - should be able to go where they wish at night while feeling comfortable and secure. Our mission is to provide inclusive, safe, and accessible alternatives to traveling alone at night. We provide over 30,000 rides a year and are a free assault prevention service open to UO students, faculty, and staff.
Need immediate assistance? For emergencies, call 911 or the UO Police Department at (541) 346-2919. Additionally, the University Counseling and Testing Center after-hours support hotline at (541) 346-3227 and the White Bird Clinic crisis line at (541) 687-4000 are available 24/7.
