Registration

Registration for the course and for graduate credit through the University of Oregon will be available after January 15, 2020.

Important Note: This is a non-commercial course/workshop on physics pedagogy and the use of active learning with computer-based tools to enhance the learning of introductory physics. It was created by Priscilla Laws, David Sokoloff and Ronald Thornton, and will be presented by the latter two.

Computer-based tools manufactured by the major manufacturers and distributers are supported by the curricula explored in this course.

Vernier Software and Technology has been gracious in allowing us to hold the course in their workshop facility in Beaverton, Oregon, and in handling online registration for us. Credit registration is through the University of Oregon. Neither has responsibility for the content of the course.
