COURSE II--DICKINSON COLLEGE TRAVEL AND LODGING INFORMATION
SCHEDULE: The course will run 8:30-5:30 on Thursday, June 3 and Friday, June 4 and 8:30 to noon on Saturday, June 5.
LOCATION: The course will be held in Room 101 of the New Science Building on the Dickinson College campus in Carlisle, PA. The Science Building is located at 343 W. Louther Street (between College and Cherry Streets.) Click HERE for a campus map.
TRAVEL: Carlisle is located 18 miles west of Harrisburg, PA. Click HERE for a city map of Carlisle.
AIRLINE DISCOUNTS: To find out about special airline and car rental discounts for these courses, click HERE. If traveling by air, the closest airport is Harrisburg International Airport (MDT), about 30 miles east of Carlisle. However, airfares are often much better to Philadelphia (PHL), about 120 miles east, Baltimore/Washington (BWI), about 100 miles south, or Dulles or Reagan airports in Washington, DC, about 110 miles southeast. Rental car agencies and taxis are available at the airports.

MOTEL:
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Days Inn. For a map click HERE. You must phone the Days Inn by May 9 to make your own reservation, and ask for the Dickinson Physics Course Group Block. Remember, room cutoff date is May 9!
MEALS: There are many restaurants within easy walking distance of campus. Meals can also be purchased at the College Dining Hall or the Union Station Snack Bar located across from the Dining Hall, in the Holland Union Building (HUB).
PARKING: Parking is available in campus student lots without a permit. On-street parking is also available.
