The story of the star Sanduleak -69o 202
t = 1 sec
- The inner core is now mostly neutrons.
- Much of the gravitational potential energy has been converted to
neutrinos and antineutrinos.
- the core is so dense that the neutrinos can't get out right away.
- As the first neutrinos get out, they provide some extra push to the
outward moving shock wave.
