Venus's Interior
Density:
- Density is 5250 kg/m3.
- This is similar to Earth's density.
- So need an iron core, similar to Earth.
Magnetic field:
- Venus has no magnetic field.
- Presuming that the iron core is at least partly liquid,
it does not seem to have the right motions to make a magnetic field.
- The very slow rotation rate of Venus is presumably responsible
for the different organization of fluid motions in its core as
compared to the Earth.
