| 4 Oct 18 | Library Resources Presentation Library Resources also checkout Rock Resources Your task: Find a classic piece of music and give it a listen in the Douglas listening room and report the name of the song and when it was recorded. Choose one of the two suggestions: 1) Take a current artist or band that does music you like. Determine what influenced the music of that band or artist and locate that influence and listen to a couple of songs. Catalog the songs (name, album and library reference number) you listened to and make a statement whether you can hear the connection to that music. 2) Pick three bands that has been discussed in you History of Rock class and find album(s) of their music and listen to the songs. Catalog the songs (name, album and library reference number) in your report. Give a critique of what you thought of the songs and the artist.Library Resource Result. 3) Submit your own reseacrh proposal. Submit via email to Daniel or Stan by Friday 10/21. Research Project due. Turn it in at class time. |
