      The Boycott Against Tobacco Companies
The Boycott of Tobacco Companies:The Right Way to Boycott Tobacco
Remember the keys to a successful boycott.
      A Clear Issue:
The immoral activities of tobacco companies.
      A Visible Target:
The target is the tobacco companies and their products, both tobacco and
non-tobacco. See Tobacco Companies and Their Non-Tobacco Products.
      Clear Alternatives:
The goal is to create a personal boycott of all the products of tobacco
companies (tobacco and non-tobacco) and support the removal of any
investment in tobacco companies. There are many alternatives both in
      consumer products and investments.
      Visibility of Violations:
Share your boycott and information with others. Tell others at home, at
work, and especially when you go shopping.
      An Organized Effort:
Support The Conscientious Consumer Actions Against Tobacco points and
contact your elected governmental officials, join anti-tobacco
organizations, and be a personal advocate to people you know and meet.
      The Resolution
Once the tobacco companies accept and abide the Koop-Kessler Committee
recommendations (and the added Conscientious Consumers recommendations),
conscientious consumers may choose to stop their personal boycotts.
