TITLE: Quantum Cohomology of Hypertoric Varieties

ABSTRACT: I will describe joint work of Daniel Shenfeld and myself computing
the quantum cohomology of hypertoric varieties, and explain its relevance
to the representation theory of certain quantum groups. No previous
knowledge of quantum cohomology or hypertoric varieties is required.
