Tham Din



     

    View of Khao Kampan, a monadnockor karst hill at the inner edge of the Pattani area coastal plain. 

    This hill, located near the modern city of Yala, provided evidence from archaeological survey of rockshelter and cave occupations in 22 different locations. One of these, the Tham Din site, showed occupation dating back to at least 3500 years ago.
