Dean Livelybrooks' OCEPT Activities Page OCEPT stands for the Oregon Collaborative for Excellence in the Preparation of (science & math) Teachers, though after the summer institute it is sometimes regarded as the Oregon Collaborative for the Expenditure of Precious Time (just kidding, Marge). In reality, OCEPT is a wonderful opportunity for college educators to re-tool their curriculae to better prepare our future K-12 science and math teachers. During 1998/99 I was an OCEPT Fellow, which provided me the opportunity to do just that.
