payroll: Time Entry Reminders
Two Time Sheets:
Student and temporary employees with minimum wage hourly rate increases
and classified hourly employees with merit increases will have two time
sheets in PHAHOUR this month.
The first time sheet should reflect all hours worked prior to January 1st
and will be paid at the previous hourly rate. The second time sheet
should reflect all hours worked from January 1st to cutoff and will be
paid at the new hourly rate.
Vacation Cash Out:
During time entry this month, it is the responsibility of the payroll
coordinators to input vacation cash out hours for SEIU & Teamster
represented employees. Use the earn code LPV. The account code, 10411,
will default from the system when the earn code is entered in Banner form
PHAHOUR.
As you will recall, Request for Cash Out of Vacation forms were faxed to
Human Resources by the December 31, 2010 deadline. Our deadline is in
keeping with IRS constructive receipt guidelines in which employees make
vacation cash out requests during one calendar year for payout in the next
calendar year.
Please retain the cash out form with your time entry records for audit
